SUMMARY:
This contribution presents three methods for collecting information on research in psychology, inspired by the premises of social constructionism. First, we propose that the position of not knowing allows formulating research questions that balanced the power relationship among the researcher and child participants living on the streets.
Then, we present a new methodology of joint construction of life stories with adolescents in conflict with the law, who are deprived from freedom. Finally, we exhibit how social constructionism led to the recognition of multiple voices in the study of social support with migrant women in Bolivia.
